On 18 September 2019 Hamdard University Bangladesh organized a Seminar on “Education, Morality, Vision & Ethical Values in Life” in its permanent campus at Hamdard Nagor, Gazaria, Munshiganj. The keynote speaker of the Seminar was Ambassador Major General Mohammad Ashab Uddin ndc, psc (Retd.). The Vice – Chancellor of the University Prof Dr Md Abdul Mannan presided over the seminar. In the Seminar, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Abul Khair, Dean (In-charge) of Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology Assoc. Prof Dr Mohammad Rabiul Alam, Registrar Dr Md Moazzom Hossain, Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda, all the Heads of the Departments, all Faculty members, students and officers were present.
Ambassador Major General Mohammad Ashab Uddin ndc, psc (Retd.) said that students can build a knowledge based society and a nation. He also urged the students that from now on they should prepare themselves to face the challenge of the 21st century. He advised the students that they should acquire knowledge through academic education, should build strong morality, firm vision and ethical values for their professional success. If they have such kind of qualities, then they can contribute to our society as well as nation. In addition, he believed that the new generation can take ahead our society and nation through their selfless philanthropic activities.
Prof Dr Md Abdul Mannan expressed his cordial thanks to the keynote speaker for giving valuable time and efforts. He said that the students of this University can learn many things from this seminar and will be attentive and careful regarding their education, morality, vision and ethical values in their real life. At the end of his speech, he hoped that if we do our duties honestly and properly, then our society and nation will be benefited.
